Edward de Bono

Edward de Bono (born in Malta in 1933) studied medicine at St Edward’s College and at the University of Malta, and later psychology at Oxford University. He received his PhD from the University of Cambridge. In 1969, he founded the Cognitive Research Trust in order to spread his techniques. He published 62 books, which have been translated into 37 languages.

Edward de Bono is regarded as one of the leading teachers of creative thinking. He has developed numerous techniques that help people find new ideas and think outside the box. These include Lateral Thinking, the Six Thinking Hats, and other methods.
